Career Center Students Earn Gold Medals at SkillsUSA
A group of students representing different programs from the Arlington Career Center recently participated in the Northern Virginia SkillsUSA District 5 Competition at Edison Academy on February 5. The Arlington Career Center had 51 students compete in 13 contests and were awarded 87 medals.
Students were awarded 60 gold, 21 silver and 6 bronze medals.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA serves teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. All of the Gold Medalists are eligible to compete in Fredericksburg for the SkillsUSA State Championships on April 15-16.
