World Languages

Congratulations to Wakefield High School's French program, honored as an exemplary program by the American Association of Teachers of French and recently highlighted on ABC 7 news. 
Arlington Public Schools has been awarded the STARTALK federal grant to teach Arabic and Chinese in an intensive 3-week summer school program for the tenth consecutive year. 
Registration for Credit by Exam is now closed for SY2015-16.  It will be offered again in SY2016-17.

School Board Value:

"All APS students should be proficient in at least two languages upon graduation and should have access to world language proficiency programs regardless of school of attendance."
