The study of history and the social sciences is vital in a democratic society. All students need to know and understand our national heritage in order to become informed participants in shaping our nation's future.
I graduated from the Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and received my Master's in Elementary Education from George Mason. I love teaching second grade and watching the students grow as learners. As their teacher, I hope to instill a strong foundation that leads to a lifelong love for learning. During my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
